A hospital in Heidelberg is seeking a dedicated Waste Services Officer to support the effective and timely collection, movement, and management of waste streams, including general, recycling, and clinical waste.

About the Role

As a Waste Services Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sustainable environment within the hospital. Key responsibilities include:

• Collecting and transporting waste from key collection points, including operating hospital vehicles.
• Adhering to waste management procedures and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Contributing to waste reduction initiatives to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Supporting the hospital in achieving its waste management and sustainability targets.
• Working collaboratively with staff across all departments to promote environmental responsibility.

Shift Options

We offer flexible shifts across weekdays and weekends:

Monday to Friday:

• 05:00 - 13:00
• 08:00 - 16:00
• 13:30 - 21:30

Saturday & Sunday:

• 07:00 - 15:00
