JRM Hospitality Recruitment is seeking an experienced, well organised, passionate and professional Sous Chef to join a multifaceted and dynamic opportunity based in two different locations, both in Sydney's east and west. This is a brilliant opportunity for a skilled culinary professional experienced in high volume outlets looking to continuing taking on more responsibility. You can also make a real impact managing and leading a culinary team through a very busy day while still having a vigilant focussed attention to detail.

About the Role:

• Collaborate with the Executive Sous Chef to oversee day-to-day kitchen operations.
• Work with premium-quality seasonal produce to create exceptional dishes.
• Supervise and mentor the kitchen team, ensuring smooth food production and a healthy team culture.
• Assist in managing inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling food costs.
• Always maintain kitchen health and safety standards.

About You:

• Previous experience as a Sous Chef in a similar multi outlet refined venue environment, with experience managing medium to large teams through a busy service.
• Strong culinary knowledge and ability to work efficiently under pressure while remaining calm.
• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• A genuine passion for the culinary industry and a positive, collaborative approach to teamwork.
• Full working rights in Australia are required.

This role offers a more daytime focussed work week and will at times get very busy, but also have its down times in between the peaks. You'll get the chance to collaborate with a fantastic team and opportunities for great career progression. You will join an established team to deliver a wide cross-section of culinary offerings from retail to a la carte fine dining across our five outlets.
