Location: Multi-Campus

Award Classification: PACCT Level 3.1

Salary: $59,804 per annum (plus superannuation)

Hours per Week: 38

About the Role

Melbourne Polytechnic is seeking a dynamic Administrative Assistant – EAL to support the effective delivery of student administration and services within the Foundation Directorate. This is a great opportunity to contribute to student lifecycle support, drive administrative excellence, and support collaborative team success in a purpose-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide high-level administrative support across the student lifecycle, including enrolments, amendments, completions, and enquiries

Deliver excellent customer service to students, staff, and external stakeholders

Maintain accurate records and filing systems (electronic and hardcopy)

Support meetings, events, and departmental projects

Use systems such as Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, CELCAT, and STRATA

Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and quality assurance standards

Contribute to continuous improvement and team development

Skills and Experience Required

Relevant vocational qualifications and/or extensive experience in administrative support

Strong organisational and document management skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and student management systems

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to manage competing priorities and maintain confidentiality

Team-oriented with a proactive and adaptable approach

Additional Requirements

Successful candidate will be required to provide:

A valid Victorian Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC)

A National Police Check
