Intura are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Officer to join a utility-scale solar farm project in Gympie, QLD. This is a short-term contract role (4–5 weeks) with an immediate start and accommodation provided for the successful candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Validate and certify work quality in line with Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and checklists.
• Conduct inspections, witnessing, and monitoring to ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
• Implement QA processes and controls to ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
• Maintain QA documentation and reporting, including preparation of monthly client claims.
• Perform field surveying using Topcon FC-6000.
• Coordinate with the office-based QA team and provide updates on quality performance.
• Lead site QA activities and support safety and compliance across all tasks.
• Step in to cover QA management responsibilities when required.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in QA on large-scale construction or renewable energy projects.
• Strong understanding of QA/QC procedures, industry standards, and documentation requirements.
• Proficiency with QA reporting and record-keeping.
• Field surveying experience (Topcon equipment preferred).
• Ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Commitment to safety and compliance on site.
