Team Leader – Automotive Accessory Installation

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Team Leader to join our Kilsyth-based team. This is a hands-on role leading day-to-day installation and mobile operations while also supervising and training staff.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out installations of tow bars, brake controllers, and vehicle power systems

Oversee daily operations of a mobile service van

Manage and mentor team members

Liaise with clients and provide outstanding customer service

Schedule and manage jobs effectively

Conduct stocktakes and maintain tools and equipment

Process customer payments

Support fabrication and welding tasks (experience highly regarded)

Ensure quality standards and uphold the Fivestar Towbars reputation

About You

We’re looking for someone with a strong work ethic, great attention to detail, and proven automotive industry experience.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years’ experience fitting vehicle accessories (tow bars, brake controllers, power systems)

Full, current Australian driver’s licence (essential)

Physically capable of lifting and manoeuvring up to 25kg

Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and wiring schematics

Experience using electronic diagnostic tools
