Trig Point is a growing Australian manufacturer of premium Ute canopies, trays, and 4WD accessories. Based in Rowville and established in 2015, we are looking for a skilled Fitter / Assembly Technician to join our team.

We're seeking someone hands-on, mechanically minded, and keen to work in a team-focused environment. If you're passionate about 4WDs and take pride in producing high-quality work, this could be the perfect role for you.

About the Role

In this role, you’ll be responsible for assembling and fitting trays, canopies, and accessories to a variety of 4x4 vehicles in our modern, well-equipped workshop. You’ll work alongside a supportive team to ensure all builds are completed safely, accurately, and on schedule.

This is a full-time, on-site position offering long-term stability and growth within a thriving local business.

Key Responsibilities

Fit ute trays, canopies, and accessories to 4WD vehicles

Assemble components according to technical drawings and work instructions

Safely operate a variety of hand and power tools

Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment

Collaborate with team members to meet production targets

Follow all safety procedures and company standards

Assist with minor modifications and basic troubleshooting as needed

What We’re Looking For

Experience in mechanical fitting, vehicle assembly, fabrication, or similar

12v electrical understanding and a keen eye for detail

Confident using power tools and workshop equipment

Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team

Physically fit, reliable, and safety-conscious

An interest in 4WDs or the automotive industry is highly regarded

Trade qualification and/or forklift licence (advantageous but not essential)
