About the role

Join our architectural practice as an Interior Designer. In this full-time role based in our South Yarra office, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the design and aesthetic of high-end residential projects across Melbourne.

What you'll be doing

Collaborating with the architecture and design team to develop high end interior design concepts

Producing detailed design documentation including plans, elevations, renders and specification schedules

Sourcing and specifying high-quality fixtures, finishes and fittings, preparation of Look & Feel packages

Managing client presentations and design reviews to gain approvals

Coordinating with builders and tradespeople to oversee the successful implementation of interior designs

Ensuring all projects adhere to relevant building codes, regulations and sustainability requirements

What we're looking for

Tertiary qualification in Interior Design

Minimum 5 years' experience working as an Interior Designer, preferably in a residential design practice

Strong design skills with an exceptional eye for detail and aesthetics

Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp and 3D design software

Excellent communication and client relationship management skills

Outstanding organisational abilities and the capacity to multitask effectively
