Chef Indian Cuisine

Taste of North India is a busy Indian restaurant serving delicious, wholesome food that has been passed down through generations.
We are currently seeking a full-time Chef for our busy restaurant located in Coffs Harbour.

Your duties will include:
 Planning menus, estimating food and labour costs, and ordering food supplies
 Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
 Discussing food preparation issues with Managers, Dietitians and kitchen and waiting staff
 Demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures
 Preparing and cooking food
 Explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations
 Train staff
 Day to day kitchen operations
 Implementing multiple cooking procedures
In return you will receive:
 Package: $75000-$80000 per annum plus superannuation
 Position: Full time (38 hours a week)

Requirements of position:
 Minimum of a relevant Certificate 3 and 4 in commercial cookery and at least 2 years of relevant work experience
OR Two years of relevant work experience to substitute the formal qualification
 Strong communication skills
 Experience training Staff
 A real passion for preparing and cooking food
