Join Barkus Doolan Winning, a leading boutique family law firm where our clients' experience is paramount. We're searching for a Receptionist who understands that they play a key role in the client journey and contribute to the success of our team.
The primary responsibility of the Receptionist at Barkus Doolan Winning's is to be the first point of contact for clients and visitors. They manage the client area, handle phone calls and enquiries, and assist with client intake.
The Receptionist role is full time in the office. The applicant must have a permanent right to work in Australia.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relations:
Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors.
Address inquiries and direct clients to the appropriate personnel.
Maintain confidentiality of client information.
Prepare meeting rooms and arrange refreshments.
Management of client area:
Greet clients and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner.
Answer and direct phone calls, relaying messages accurately.
Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
Maintain a tidy and organised area.
Administrative Support:
Manage meeting room calendars and meeting logistics where required.
Troubleshoot AV issues.
Assist with the client intake process.
Take payments in certain situations.
Order and maintain office supplies and equipment.
Skills and Qualifications:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organisational and time management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and AV
Attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Professional and composed attitude
Minimum 3 years' experience in a receptionist role - preferably in a legal firm or professional service firm
