Your role:
A full time role, working from our head office in Collingwood, close to public transport.
You will need to combine business acumen with empathy and see situations from many angles to generate insightful solutions to problems, and identify opportunities. We want you to proactively seek better ways of doing things, not afraid to ask 'why' and challenge the status quo. You will work with stakeholders toward win-win solutions, fostering engagement by communicating implications and potential benefits from others' perspectives. The Business Analyst role is to support the ITS Projects in particular the AV Electronic Case Management System Project.
Make Your Mark:
- Analyses and documents business processes and technical requirements for process or system changes through appropriate elicitation techniques and methods
- Facilitates and leads customers (and project teams where applicable) in the business process and/or requirements definition, to draw out the drivers of the requirement or the root cause of problems as part of this analysis
- Develops business requirements, scope statements and related proposals for process or system changes
- Challenges and questions when appropriate to ensure that the motivation, drivers, risks and impacts of a requirement are understood by all stakeholders.
- Identifies the right people/roles to involve in requirements gathering and technical discussions and is able to share information at the right level with their audience
- Presents ideas, outcomes and information to both business and technical stakeholders
- Clearly and effectively documents all Business Analysis and Project Management templates including Requirements Document, Feasibility Study, Functional Specification, Status Updates etc.
- Undertake Quality Assurance to ensure that solution is in line with business expectations
