About the role

As a part-time Pharmacy Assistant at Radhakrishna Nityakamala Pharmacy Pty Ltd, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and supporting the efficient operations of our pharmacy in Avoca, Victoria. In this role, you will work closely with our pharmacist and pharmacy technicians to ensure the smooth delivery of pharmacy services to our patients and the local community.

What you'll be doing

Assisting customers by answering inquiries, processing prescriptions, and providing information on medication and health-related products

Maintaining accurate inventory records and restocking shelves to ensure product availability

Performing administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and answering phone calls

Providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive experience for all patients

Adhering to strict safety and quality standards to ensure the safe handling and dispensing of medications

Collaborating with the pharmacy team to support the efficient and effective operation of the pharmacy

What we're looking for

High school diploma or equivalent

Previous experience in a customer service or retail environment, preferably in a pharmacy or healthcare setting

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and healthcare professionals

Attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently

Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and confidentiality

Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures and technologies
