The Opportunity
We are seeking a permanent part-time Pharmacy Assistant or technician to join our supportive team at Neilson's Pharmacy Yarram (Pharma One). Up to 21 hours a week is available for this role with flexible start and finish times.

This is a great opportunity to further develop your retail skills in a community pharmacy. Full training will be provided. Immediate start is available if desired.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the sale of S2 and S3 medicines as well as other common pharmacy products and services.

Assist customers with general queries, including liaising with aged care staff and other health professionals.

Taking in and handing out prescriptions.

Process orders and conduct inventory management via our computer systems.

Delivery of medications to nursing homes and community residents.

Assist the pharmacy teams with other ad-hoc pharmaceutical and dispensary duties.

Working Hours
This position is a permanent part-time role, working between Monday to Friday from 9:00am until 5:30pm. Specific regular shifts will be negotiable and dependent on your availability. Saturday work between 9:00am until 12.00pm is optional.

Requirements

Be committed to providing excellent customer service.

Previous experience in retail, pharmacy or health is desirable.

Have a high attention to detail and professionalism.

The ability to work in a team environment.

Willingness to complete necessary training.
