Cooinda Coonabarabran is a not-for-profit aged care facility dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to our residents. We are seeking a reliable and motivated Laundry Attendant to join our team on a full-time basis. Part-time can also be considered.

The roster is Monday-Friday 0700-1530, however if you require a different start/finish time we are open to discussing.

This role is an essential part of our Support Services team, ensuring that our residents’ clothing and linen are cleaned, maintained, and presented to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

Collect, wash, dry, fold and distribute residents’ clothing and linen.

Operate commercial laundry equipment safely and effectively.

Follow infection control and workplace health & safety procedures.

Maintain a clean, organised laundry environment.

Work collaboratively with other support staff to meet residents’ needs.

About You

Previous laundry/cleaning experience preferred, but not essential – training provided.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards.

Reliability and a positive, caring attitude.
