Position: Venue Technician (Lighting) - Casual

Venue: The Concourse Performing Arts Centre, Chatswood

Salary: $37-43/hr + super (Based on experience)

Minimum experience:

• Operate, program and design using ETC Eos lighting console in theatre or live music

About the Role

We’re seeking both junior and senior Lighting Technicians to support our production team across a variety of events. This is a hands-on technical role with opportunities to operate, program, and design lighting for theatre productions, live music, and other events.

You’ll work collaboratively with production teams, artists, and venue staff to ensure smooth, professional, and visually exciting outcomes for every show.

VENUE OVERVIEW

The Concourse is a state-of-the-art hub for culture, entertainment, information, retail, food and beverage, opened in Chatswood in September 2011.

Century Venues operate as the Managers of The Concourse, responsible for the Concert Hall, the Theatre and The Lounge.

We are seeking skilled and passionate Lighting Technicians to join our dynamic team and help bring our productions to life.

Desirable:

Competent Testing and tagging (AS/NZS 3760)

Construction Industry Induction (white Card)

Construction Industry Induction (white Card)

Competent in safe operation of EWP’s (Vertical Lift)

Experience with I.T. infrastructure, switching, and network management.

Basic or Intermediate Rigging License

AutoCAD or similar experience

Working Safely at Heights Competence
