About the role
We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced candidate for the fixed-term position of Medical Workforce Coordinator a key role within the Medical Directorate at South West Healthcare (SWH). This position supports the management of Junior Medical Staff, including Hospital Medical Officers, Career Medical Officers, and Registrars, both directly employed and rotating from other health services.
The role requires strong capability in a wide range of administrative and operational processes. In addition, the Medical Workforce Coordinator will assist in the planning, development, and coordination of education and training activities for Junior Medical Officers, Interns, and HMOs, in collaboration with the Supervisor of Intern Training.
Position overview
- Employment Type: Full Time (80 hours per fortnight) with a monthly ADO, Fixed Term Parental Leave position. Commencing September 2025 until August 2026. Part time applications will be considered for the right candidate
- Location: Warrnambool Campus
- Classification: Administrative Worker Grade 3
- Salary Range: $74,448.40 - $82,305.60 pro rata, plus superannuation
What you bring
The successful applicant will have well developed time management and organisational skills, as well as advanced computer literacy skills. A Certificate/Diploma in Health or Business Administration or equivalent is desired (or willingness to undertake) and knowledge of medical terminology would be an advantage.
