Our client is an established West Australian specialist pipeline, utilities and civils contractor with an excellent reputation in successfully delivering a variety of pipeline, underground services and water projects throughout WA and Victoria.

Due to their ongoing growth and successful tendering, they have an immediate requirement for an experienced Senior Project Engineer or Project Manager to manage an upcoming HDPE project approx' 2 hrs south of Perth. Due to the location our client is looking recruit someone willing to work on a 5/2 DIDO roster.

As this is a semi-autonomous role reporting into Perth based senior management, you must be an experienced high performing individual that can demonstrate successful civils bias project delivery coupled with commercial acumen. You must have proven experience in costings, planning, programming and excellent organisational skills.

The scope of this project includes deep excavation, shoring, HDPE pipe, water mains and the use of heavy plant. Applicants will either come from a strong heavy civils background or the utilities / pipeline sector.

Due to the size and nature of our clients’ project, candidates with a 2nd or large 3rd tier specialist contracting background would be most suited preferably with HDPE or Water Corp experience.

To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate the following:

• Tertiary / Degree educated in civil engineering
• Perth based with HDPE pipeline / utilities project experience
• Tier 2 or large tier 3 experience
• Minimum 10 yrs civils project experience with recognised contractors
• Pipeline / excavation / underground services experience
• Contractor experience essential not consultancy
• Ability to work on your own initiative
• Computer literate
• Australian Experience Essential
