Casual Teaching Roles – Instructional Coaches
Location: Perth
Appointment: Casual, minimum 2 days per week
Rate: $80–$100 per hour
About you
This role is designed for experienced teachers who want flexible work while extending their impact beyond a single classroom.
To be successful, you will be:
A qualified educator with a Bachelor’s degree (or higher) and eligibility to teach in Australia.
Experienced — at least two years in a senior teacher, middle leader, or coaching role.
Knowledgeable in evidence-based practices such as explicit instruction, the science of learning and reading, and/or knowledge-rich curriculum.
Skilled in instruction — with experience in literacy and/or numeracy teaching (desirable).
An excellent communicator who can deliver clear, constructive feedback and model effective lessons.
Willing to travel within and across states to work directly with schools.

The role
As an Instructional Coach, you will:
Demonstrate evidence-based routines and strategies in classrooms.
Observe lessons and provide coaching and feedback to teachers and leaders.
Support schools to build sustainable, in-house coaching capability.
Facilitate or co-facilitate professional learning workshops.
