About the Role:

Workforce Extensions is currently seeking an experienced CNC Router Operator to join our client’s production team in Campbelltown. In this role, you’ll operate a MultiCam CNC Router to produce high-quality parts from various materials, including aluminum, wood, plastics, and composites. You’ll work from CAD drawings and technical files to ensure precise and efficient output.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate MultiCam CNC Routers to cut, shape, and drill materials.

Interpret CAD drawings and work instructions to produce components to specification.

Load and secure materials using machine beds or vacuum tables.

Adjust program settings, tooling, and offsets for optimal results.

Monitor the machine during operation to ensure quality and precision.

Conduct regular maintenance and cleaning of the machine as per guidelines.

Inspect finished parts using calipers, tape measures, or precision tools.

Report defects, inconsistencies, or equipment issues to supervisors or maintenance.

Collaborate with design, fabrication, and assembly teams to optimize workflow.

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.

What You Bring:

Experience & Technical Skills:

2+ years’ experience operating CNC routers; MultiCam experience preferred.

Skilled in G-code, CNC programming, and CAM software (e.g. EnRoute).

Familiarity with material properties, tooling, and cutting speeds for various substrates.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.

Soft Skills:

High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality.

Good time management and organizational abilities.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience operating a MultiCam CNC Router or similar industrial machine.

Background in signage, cabinetry, custom fabrication, or related fields.

Understanding of vacuum hold-down systems and tool change procedures.
