NDF Disc Planters is a leading Australian manufacturer with over 20 years of experience building high-quality disc planters. Every machine is proudly designed and built in-house at our factory in Narromine, NSW. We’re committed to delivering top-quality, Australian-made equipment to farmers across the country.

We are currently seeking a CNC Operator to join our growing team.

You’ll be working in our state-of-the-art machine shop, equipped with a full line of DMG Mori machines, where we manufacture all components for our disc planters.

Key Responsibilities

Operate and maintain CNC machines, particularly the DMG Mori NHX 6300 Horizontal Machining Centre

Ensure accuracy and quality in all machined components

Perform machine setup, tooling changes, and minor adjustments

Monitor production runs and inspect finished parts

Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment

Overtime available

Above-award pay for experienced operators

What We’re Looking For

Experience operating CNC machines (milling experience highly regarded)

Trade qualification in CNC machining or a related field (preferred)

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings with precision

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
