We are looking for an experienced Commercial Lawyer or Paralegal with a passion for looking after small to medium businesses. If you've had the experience of running a business, all the better!

We value a practical, plain English approach that gives our clients a clear solution or way forward. By 'plain English' we mean if it would sound silly saying it loud to someone, don't put it in an email! You'll also be one of the people answering the office phone, so you need to be comfortable talking with strangers.

Business sales and acquisitions, commercial leasing, trusts and shareholder agreements, and IP are all areas where experience is desired, and you can provide the most support right now.

As a minimum, you are required to have:

Australian law degree (LLB/JD) or equivalent legal qualification if applying as a lawyer

Minimum 3 years' PQE experience in: commercial contracts, business sales/acquisitions, commercial leasing

eligibility for a current unrestricted Australian practising certificate

willingness to operate a paperless environment

Oh, and we use Smokeball, so if you're familiar with that system, great!
