About the Position:

Our client is expanding and seeking an experienced Senior Property & Commercial Lawyer (5 Years PAE) to join their Property & Commercial department. The successful candidate will become an integral part of the team, handling a variety of commercial transactions and some conveyancing matters in both QLD and NSW. This role involves providing legal advice, managing transactions, and supporting the overflow of conveyancing and off-the-plan matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice and assistance in all aspects of commercial law, including retail and commercial leasing, business sales and purchases, franchising, shareholder agreements, and more.
• Assist with property matters, including residential and commercial conveyancing, off-the-plan transactions, and inter-family transfers.
• Promote the department to potential clients and referral sources.
• Maintain excellent file management and attention to detail.
• Work independently and as part of a large team.

Key Requirements:

• Admission as a lawyer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Commercial Law (private practice 3+ years)
• Client-focused approach with strong relationship-building skills
• Excellent drafting skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple files, prioritise workload, and meet deadlines
• Willingness to work between all offices and build relationships with referrers
• Experience with LEAP software is beneficial but not required
