About the Role
We are seeking an energetic, motivated, and caring individual to support a young girl with an Intellectual Disability, complex communication, and support needs.

She has a wicked laugh, an incredible smile that lights up any room, and requires support throughout her day, at home, overnight, in the community, and across all aspects of her life outside of school.

This is a hands-on role where you will provide person-centred support tailored to her individual needs and goals.

Your Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality, compassionate support at home and in the community.

Follow Positive Behaviour Support Plans and daily routines.

Support with personal care, communication, and daily living skills.

Engage in fun, meaningful activities that build confidence and independence.

Provide calm and professional responses to challenging behaviours when needed.

About You
You are resilient, patient, caring, and calm under pressure. You enjoy connecting with people, creating positive experiences, and supporting others to live their best life.

Essential Skills & Attributes:

Experience in behaviour management and person-centred care.

Ability to engage proactively and build strong relationships.

Clear communication and teamwork skills.

Professional and calm approach in challenging situations.

What You’ll Need Before Starting:

NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to apply).

Working with Children Check.

Valid Australian Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle.

Completion (or willingness to complete) NDIS orientation modules.

Willingness to undertake Bowel Care and Person-Centred training.

Experience with behaviour management.

Pay Rate: $39.11 - $86.05 per hour (casual)
