Our client is seeking an experienced and hands-on Panel Beater to deliver high-quality repairs on vehicle bodies and structures while supporting apprentices and maintaining strong safety and quality standards. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Bathurst NSW, working Monday to Friday in a modern, fully equipped workshop.

Responsibilities

As a Panel Beater, you’ll be responsible for returning vehicles to their pre-accident condition using approved and safe repair methods.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Removing and replacing damaged components to facilitate structural and cosmetic repairs
• Using and maintaining hand and power tools to manufacturer and SOP standards
• Performing high-quality panel repairs using approved materials and techniques
• Preparing and sanding surfaces ready for paint application
• Supporting and mentoring apprentices and new team members
• Reporting additional labour or parts requirements during the repair process
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised workspace and equipment
• Ensuring job updates and system entries are completed accurately
• Identifying and escalating production issues or safety risks
• Adhering to company policies, repair standards, and WHS regulations
