Position Profile: The Director Business Performance and Improvement is responsible for managerial accounting functions within WACHS: Audit, System Manager, CE and Board reporting. The department is responsible for the reporting of financial compliance matters broadly to internal and external stakeholders (including regulating authorities). The role is also responsible for developing and maintaining financial reporting tools, using suitable market platforms available to WA Health agencies. This position ensures appropriate budget targets are set and monitored across WACHS.
This position managers three teams: Business Improvement, Budget Strategy & Risk and Audit. Broadly the department aims to promote better understanding of WACHS’ service delivery models and ultimately improved financial performance.
