A Strategic Role with Real Impact
We’re seeking a strategic and purpose driven General Manager to lead our Finance, HR and ICT teams supporting this essential work. What you will lead
In this senior leadership position, you will develop, implement, and review Finance, HR and ICT strategies that align with organisational goals, industry best practice, and emerging opportunities for improvement and innovation. You will ensure the organisation meets its Award, legislative, regulatory, sector, and contractual obligations.
You will provide supervision, mentoring, and professional development opportunities for your team, fostering a positive, collaborative workplace culture where communication is open, resilience is supported, and staff well-being is prioritised. You will lead workforce planning, recruitment, retention, and performance development, ensuring training needs are met and continuous learning is encouraged.
Externally, you will build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, represent the organisation in key forums, negotiate agreements and contracts, and advocate for improvements that benefit our services and sustainability. You will manage budgets and financial reporting across the organisation, ensure funding compliance, monitor performance outcomes, and prepare compelling business cases and funding proposals to secure additional resources.
Working closely with the Director, you will prepare high-level reports for the Board covering finance, ICT, and HR, implement contemporary reporting tools for clear and timely decision-making, and contribute to strategic governance activities that align business services with corporate requirements. You will also ensure the integrity and efficiency of our ICT systems, financial information management, and data management processes to meet changing legislative and organisational needs.

- Salary Packaging up to $15,900 (Superannuation can be paid in addition to this, subject to any ATO limit if any)

Who You Are
You are a strategic and hands-on leader with tertiary qualifications in Business, Accounting, or a related field (CA/CPA qualifications will be highly regarded). You bring proven experience in senior business services leadership, ideally within the community services sector, and a strong understanding of financial, HR, ICT operations, and compliance frameworks.
Your leadership style is collaborative, forward-thinking, and focused on continuous improvement. You have a solid grasp of Agreements and Awards, risk management, and governance requirements, and you are confident engaging with executives, boards, and external stakeholders. Your communication and reporting skills are exceptional, allowing you to convey complex information clearly and persuasively at all levels.
You will also need a current Driver’s Licence, and either hold or be eligible to obtain a Blue Card, NDIS Worker Screening, and a satisfactory National Police Check.
