The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Estimator to join their Melbourne-based team. You’ll work closely with construction and design teams to prepare accurate costings, liaise with suppliers and subcontractors, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities

Prepare bills of quantities, cost breakdowns, and production estimates

Generate and manage purchase orders with suppliers and trades

Review take-offs and ensure cost accuracy

Track budgets, variations, and provide regular margin reports

Collaborate across teams to ensure smooth project delivery

Build and maintain strong supplier and subcontractor relationships

About You

2–3 years’ experience in residential estimating (medium-density experience highly regarded)

Exposure to residential or multi-residential construction (builder/developer background preferred)

Relevant qualifications in Building, Construction, or trade background desirable

Strong numerical, analytical, and organisational skills

High attention to detail with excellent communication abilities

Ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines
