PaediaTricks is a private clinic that has proudly provided paediatric allied health services in Townsville for over 20 years. Our passionate team of allied health professionals is dedicated to making therapy engaging, empowering, and effective. We are now accepting applications for our 2026 New Graduate Program designed to support early-career therapists with hands-on learning, mentorship, and professional growth from day one.
Key responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify children's functional abilities and needs
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to support children's development and independence in daily activities
Collaborate with families, educators, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to care
Provide a mix of clinic-based, community, and home/school visit sessions.
Document client progress and maintain detailed clinical records
Participate in team meetings and continuous professional development activities
Contribute to the growth and development of the occupational therapy service at PaediaTricks'

What we're looking for
Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and current AHPRA registration
Clinical skills in areas such as sensory integration, motor skill development, and emotional regulation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous professional development
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
