Remarkable You Occupational Therapy
Posted 19 hours ago
Hi there!👋 We're so glad you want to learn more about us, and who we're excited to welcome next into the Remarkable You OT family, as we grow our services in the Brisbane North and Moreton Bay.
We’re looking for a passionate new graduate Occupational Therapist to commence with us in 2026 🎓✨— someone eager to start their career in a supportive, values-driven team where learning, growth, and connection are at the heart of what we do. 💛
Get to know us and the world we want to create in our local backyard.
Our Why 💛
In the early years of motherhood, I spent a lot of time in therapy waiting rooms with my son- often feeling uncertain, overwhelmed, and a little alone. These lived experiences have fuelled my passion for building a team who truly understand the importance of nurturing the whole family, not just the child. While every family’s journey is different, sharing these lived experiences helps us walk alongside others with empathy, understanding, and heart. This is the "why" behind what we do, and it continues to inspire the way we show up for our families and for each other every day.
We are a 100% values-driven business. Everything we create for our families is run through our value filters. Why is this important? Because we are striving to contribute to the broader community through the work we do, to achieve our vision and mission.
Who We Are 🌱
At Remarkable You OT, our vision is a connected community where young people are living remarkable lives. We do this by supporting children and families through compassionate, creative, and empowering occupational therapy services, delivered with warmth and integrity
We're a values-led team, and everything we create runs through the filter of our core values:
Connection: We build strong, authentic relationships with children, families, and communities—believing that meaningful connection is the foundation for growth, belonging, and thriving together.
Empowerment: We support children and those who walk beside them to discover their strengths, build confidence, and grow in ways that are unique, purposeful, and lasting.
Playful: We bring joy, creativity, and curiosity into everything we do—because play is how children learn best, connect deeply, and build the skills to live remarkable lives.
Care: We show up with genuine compassion, listening carefully and responding with personalised, thoughtful support that nurtures the whole child and their circle of care.
Get to Know the Team 🤝
We're a close-knit team of OT's, AHA's and client care legends who genuinely care for each other, and our clients. As we continue to grow, we're looking looking for passionate, creative, and compassionate Occupational Therapists to join us in a mix of clinic-based and mobile roles. Whether you prefer the buzz of the clinic or the impact of home-based work, we’ll collaborate to design a caseload that supports your interests, strengths, and life outside of work too.
Our team vibe? Supportive, down-to-earth, and here for the long haul. Many of our crew have been with us since the early days, and we think that says a lot. 💛
Our size means we’re big enough to create impact, but close enough to stay connected, so your ideas, creativity, and strengths won’t get lost in the noise. You’ll be supported to grow both professionally and personally, with real opportunities to shape the way we deliver services and make a difference together.
For new graduates, this means:
A safe-to-learn culture where curiosity is encouraged, questions are celebrated, and mistakes are seen as opportunities to grow.
A buddy system and peer shadowing so you’re supported not only by leaders, but also by colleagues at every stage.
Meaningful Work, In Meaningful Places
We operate as a hybrid service, offering a mix of mobile and clinic-based support. We LOVE being in clients’ homes. It gives us the chance to create meaningful strategies and coach families in the real context of their lives. Our North Lakes clinic is light-filled, colourful, and surrounded by great cafes, and we’re excited to be opening a brand-new two-level clinic in Brendale this September, with multiple therapy rooms and space to grow! We support families across Brisbane North and Moreton Bay, with each therapist allocated a manageable travel zone (which we’ll agree on together). Prefer to be mostly clinic-based? That’s totally ok! We’ll shape your role to suit your strengths and preferences.
We also get to do some pretty awesome work through the Kindy Uplift initiative, jumping into kindy classrooms to run fun emotional regulation groups, support educators, and bring OT strategies to life in real-time. If you love working with 3–5-year-olds and enjoy teaming up with educators in a playful, practical way, this part of the role is incredibly rewarding.
Our clinic-based group programs are another highlight of the role- designed to support kids in building their social, emotional, and everyday life skills in a fun, peer-supported environment. They’re a great way for families to connect, for kids to apply what they’ve learned in one-on-one sessions, and for therapists to get creative with interests-based, neuroaffirming support.
What you’ll be doing:
Assessment and intervention support for children who may present with or without an official diagnosis. Some of which may include ADHD, ASD, learning difficulties, global developmental delay, developmental co-ordination disorder and sensory processing difficulties. You will work within your scope of interest areas, age range and have a say about the clients you work with.
Deliver therapy for children aged 0-13 across clinic, home and school settings.
Complete high-quality clinical documentation, including treatment notes and assessment reports.
Run FUN, neuroaffirming play-based therapy group programs.
Work collaboratively with educators, families, and other professionals.
Participate in Kindy Uplift projects, offering educator coaching and support.
Contribute ideas, creativity, and care to a workplace that values your voice.
Participate in regular internal and external professional development, quarterly team building activities, fortnightly peer support and team meetings where we share and connect with one another.
What you’ll get:
Structured onboarding tailored to your needs: shadowing, joint sessions, gradual caseload build-up, and personalised support.
Regular supervision and mentoring, with weekly sessions for new grads.
A grad-friendly caseload that grows with your confidence.
A flexible mix of mobile and clinic-based work
A client care team that’s got your back + leaders who truly listen and support you.
Regular supervision, weekly team learning, and a $2,000 annual professional development allowance.
Admin time built into your week, realistic client impact hours, and the chance to boost your income through our bonus structure.
A fun, connected, and genuinely supportive team (yep, we celebrate birthdays with cake 🎂). We also mix things up with journal article reviews, collaborative projects, and “show and share” sessions where we learn from each other’s favourite therapy tools and strategies.
Opportunities for leadership, clinical project work, and career growth—on your terms.
Phone, travel allowance ($0.99/km), and flexibility to complete admin from home.
Your own set of resources for mobile days and plenty of toys, tools, and games in clinic to keep therapy engaging and fresh.
Who you are:
You’re passionate about people, connection, and bringing curiosity into every interaction.
You’re playful, confident, and grounded in neuroaffirming, family-centred practice.
You’re a lifelong learner who’s passionate about making a difference.
You’re either an experienced therapist or a new grad eager to learn with support and you genuinely connect with our values of connection, empowerment, playfulness, and care.
Choose Your Rhythm
We’re ideally looking for someone to join us full-time, but we’re open to part-time arrangements (minimum 3 days per week) for the right person. Let’s chat about what works best for you!
What you’ll need:
Recognised Bachelor of Occupational Therapy.
Full registration with AHPRA
Professional indemnity insurance.
Your own car and current QLD driver's licence.
Laptop
Passion to make a difference!
If this sounds like your kind of team, we’d love to hear from you!! To apply, please send your CV via SEEK or email and a cover letter that includes:
Three interesting things about you,
Why you love being an OT (or for our new grads, what you are most looking forward to about being an OT)
What you think contributes to an inspirational workplace, and
What sort of support you are looking for
We can’t wait to hear from you! - Shayla 😊
