About the Role
We are seeking an experienced House Demolition Operator with solid earthworks skills to join our team. The role involves operating heavy machinery, carrying out house and structure demolitions, bulk excavation, and site preparation.

Duties will include:

Operate a range of heavy demolition equipment including excavators, and loaders to demolish houses and other structures

Safe and efficient demolition of houses, motels as well as other structures small or large

Carry out bulk earthworks, trenching, and site clearing as required

Ensure all demolition work is completed in accordance with safety regulations and industry best practices

Identify and report any hazards or issues that arise during demolition operations

Following strict safety protocols and site procedures

Collaborate with the project management team to ensure seamless execution of demolition projects

What we're looking for

Extensive experience (5+ years) in house demolition work and/or earthworks

Proven track record of safely and efficiently carrying out residential and commercial demolition projects

Strong understanding of demolition techniques, site preparation, and earthworks

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to navigate complex demolition challenges

Commitment to upholding strict safety standards and procedures

Relevant demolition or construction industry certifications (e.g. Demolition License, Confined Spaces, Working at Heights)

White Card (Construction Induction) – essential

Relevant machinery tickets/licenses

Asbestos awareness/removal ticket (advantageous)

Ability to work in a team and follow instructions
