Your Role

As a key team member, you will work closely with Director, site supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure accurate estimating, procurement, and project administration.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and submit detailed cost estimates and BOQs for commercial construction projects

Interpret architectural and engineering drawings and specifications

Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain pricing

Manage tender submissions and timelines

Assist with project documentation, contracts, and variations

Support the project team with administrative tasks as required

Creating Purchase orders

Manage the issuance of building permits, fencing notices, Protection work notices.

What We’re Looking For

2+ years’ experience in estimating within the commercial construction industry

Strong understanding of construction methodology and drawings

Proficiency with estimating software (e.g. BuildXact, or similar)

High level of accuracy and attention to detail

Excellent communication and organisational skills

Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Desirable

Prior experience with childcare or low to mid-rise commercial developments Knowledge of construction contracts and compliance documentation

Understanding of local council and planning requirements
