About the role

We are seeking a friendly and customer-focused person to join our team at Mike's Country Kitchen in the Launceston CBD, Tasmania. This is a casual role with shifts rostered, Monday to Friday between the hours of 9.30am to 2.30pm.

What you'll be doing

Providing exceptional customer service to our many customers

Processing customer orders and payments

Assisting with basic food preparation tasks as required

Maintaining a clean and well-organised work environment

Contributing to a positive team culture

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a customer service role, ideally within the food and hospitality industry

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers

A positive, friendly and helpful attitude

Flexibility to commence at 7.30am if necessary

Basic food preparation skills (an advantage but not essential, on-site training will be provided)
