About the Role
We are seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to join our team for upcoming FIFO shutdown and maintenance roles. This role is set for an ongoing 2:1 roster.

We pay $51.15 flat rate, plus 15% increase on NS. This is paid on 12 hours worked, along with Superannuation paid on all hours worked.

As a FIFO Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for:

• Fixed plant maintenance, servicing, and repairs – working on conveyors, crushers, pumps, and other heavy mining equipment.
• Shutdown work and breakdown support – ensuring plant reliability and uptime.
• Working within strict safety protocols – ensuring compliance with mine site procedures.
• Collaborating with site teams to deliver high-quality maintenance outcomes.

Please note that this position is FIFO from Perth only. Flights or travel allowances from other cities are not included.

What We’re Looking For:

• Australian-Recognised Trade Qualification – Mechanical Fitter
• Minimum 2 years’ post-trade experience in fixed plant mining maintenance
• Overhead Crane Ticket & VOC (completed within the last 90 days)
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-risk environment

Site Compliance Requirements:

• Confined Space & Working at Heights (valid within 2 years)
• High-Risk Work License – WP, LF, DG (preferred but not mandatory)
• Pre-employment medical & drug/alcohol screening (must be able to pass)
• Mask Fit Testing (Clean-Shaven Policy Applies)
• Ability to work both day and night shifts as required
