Mechanical Fitters | Hydraulics Professionals

My client is an industry leader in hard rock exploration mining. Considered professionals in the hydraulics equipment space, they have asked me to find Mechanical Fitters who can display a strong understanding and passion for hydraulics.
The role is based in Kewdale, Western Australia but offers the flexibility of working away on an ad-hoc basis for extra cash, with both a Site Allowance & Productivity Bonus paid based off the hours worked away. Your new role

• Based in a large workshop in Kewdale, Western Australia
• Permanent, ongoing positions
• $48-50ph + overtime after 7.5hours (up to $85ph when on site)
• Stunning & modern Workshop with modern facilities
• Stripping, cleaning and rebuilding components and attachments (hammers and booms) for rock breakers and supporting hydraulic equipment
• Mon - Fri + Saturdays ad-hoc
• 7.5-10 hour days in Workshop - 10-12 hour days on Site
• Spend 1-2 months in Workshop undergoing training and inductions before joining the site Maintenance Team
• Maintenance Team: Ad-hoc breakdown call-outs across Rio Tinto, BHP & Newmont mine sites - Breakdown maintenance, boom system installs, repairs etc
• Hire Utes with tools supplied, RDO's upon return, and extremely flexible site arrangements (working away for one week at a time per month)

What you'll need to succeed

• Hydraulics experience essential
• Australian Recognised Trade Certificate
• Forklift Ticket
• WA C Class Drivers Licence
• EWP 11+m, Dogging, Rigging & gantry crane experience PREFERRED
• Working at Heights & Confined Spaces
• Good attitude and reputation across mine sites
• Hydraulics experience essential
• Full Unlimited Australian Working Rights
