The Role:We are currently seeking experienced LV (Light Vehicle) Mechanics, HD (Heavy-Duty) Mechanics, and Fitters to join our clients’ teams. These positions are essential in supporting maintenance and repair activities, ensuring the reliability and optimal performance of vehicles and machinery in the rail, mining, and construction industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough diagnostics, inspections, and repairs on LV, HD vehicles, and machinery.
• Perform regular maintenance tasks including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Replace critical components such as engines, transmissions, and braking systems.
• Adhere to safety standards and procedures in all aspects of work.
• Accurately document repairs, services, and parts used.

Requirements:

• Trade Qualification as a Mechanic (LV and/or HD) or Fitter.
• Proven experience in LV/HD mechanics or fitter roles, particularly in rail, mining, or construction settings.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and components for automotive and heavy-duty equipment.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic and repair tools.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license.
