Part Time Solicitor in a small, established suburban law firm.
The role is 2-3 days in the office with the flexibility to work from home if required. Primary responsibilities would be in the area of Wills and Estates - meeting with clients to obtain instructions for Wills and other Estate Documents, drafting these documents then meeting with clients again to sign.
Candidate must be able to work independently and efficiently as part of a small team. Although answering directly to the principal solicitor, the role will be largely autonomous with the opportunity to manage own matters.
Clear and compassionate communication skills required to engage with clients over sometimes delicate or emotional topics.
Some conveyancing experience would be preferred as the position may also include occasionally reviewing contracts for prospective purchasers, issuing 66w certificates and arranging exchanges. Similarly, the role may require consulting with vendors regarding requested amendments prior to exchange.
If required, working hours can be flexible to accommodate family commitments.
