We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented individual with demonstrated communication and/or media experience to join our Executive Services Team. You ensure the prompt and accurate dissemination of information to the community and key stakeholders using a range of mediums. The successful applicant will have extensive experience in marketing, media and communication.

Ideally you will hold qualifications in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or a related field, combined with relevant experience in a similar role. Local Government experience desirable.

A passionate and proactive approach, excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong attention to detail, high level computer literacy and a commitment to working as part of a team will be essential.

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA

Working knowledge of how media works and previous demonstrated experience working within a public relations, media, and/or communications environment.

Able to work as a member of a small team as well as autonomously as required.

The ability to relate to and work effectively with a diverse range of people.

Demonstrated ability to work with strict deadlines.

This role will be based in the office in Kadina.
