We’re seeking an experienced Timber Drying System Installation Technician to oversee the installation and commissioning of a newly manufactured industrial kiln system.

About the Role
You’ll play a key role in ensuring our new timber drying system is installed, tested, and running exactly as the manufacturer intended. This position combines technical expertise, project oversight, and hands-on problem-solving. You’ll liaise directly with the manufacturer, guide local teams through the installation process, and ensure a smooth transition from set-up to full operation.

Key Responsibilities

Review and assess the manufacturer’s installation plan

Prepare the site, equipment, and resources for installation

Supervise and guide local technicians during installation

Liaise with the manufacturer to resolve technical issues quickly

Test and fine-tune the kiln system post-installation

Train local operators in safe and efficient system use

About You

Minimum 5 years’ experience in kiln system installation and/or operation

Strong mechanical and technical expertise in timber drying systems

Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability

Confident communicator able to work with overseas manufacturers

Able to train and mentor local workers
