Sawmill Production Line Installation Technician – Full Time

We’re seeking an experienced Sawmill Production Line Installation Technician to oversee the installation and commissioning of a newly manufactured sawmill production line.

About the Role
You’ll use your technical expertise and leadership skills to ensure the production line is installed, tested, and operating exactly as designed by the manufacturer. This role involves close collaboration with the manufacturer, supervision of local technicians, and hands-on problem-solving to deliver a smooth and timely installation.

Key Responsibilities

Review and assess the manufacturer’s installation plan

Prepare the site and resources for installation

Guide and supervise local technicians during the installation process

Liaise with the manufacturer to resolve technical issues

Test and fine-tune the production line after installation

Train local workers on safe and efficient operation

About You

Minimum 5 years’ experience in sawmill production line installation and/or operation

Strong mechanical and technical knowledge of sawmill systems

Confident communicator with the ability to work across languages and cultures

Skilled in troubleshooting and adapting plans when needed

Able to train and mentor others effectively
