About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and motivating Disability and Youth Mentor to join our team. This casual position offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young people and individuals with disabilities by providing support, guidance, and encouragement in a community-based setting.

Support and mentor young people and individuals with disabilities

Assist with developing life skills and confidence

Foster a positive and inclusive environment

Culturally safe

Collaborate with families and support networks

Promote independence and well-being

Empowering young people to reach their goals and care plans

Ideal Candidate:

Empathetic, patient, and enthusiastic

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Previous experience working with youth or people with disabilities is preferred

Ability to work flexible hours, including after-hours and weekends

Current Blue Card + Yellow Card

Full driver's licence and working vehicle + full comprehensive insurance

Prior experience in youth mentoring, disability support, or community work is preferred.
