About Your New Team
The Network Operations team, part of the City of Gold Coast’s Infrastructure Operations branch, is responsible for operating, monitoring, and managing all assets associated with the city’s potable water, sewerage, and recycled water networks. We play a pivotal role in overseeing both planned and reactive network outages, ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient provision of drinking water, recycled water, and sewerage services.

About the Role
The Network Operations Technical Officer plays a key role in supporting the Planning and Performance function within Network Operations, helping to drive efficiency and improve service delivery across the City’s water, sewerage, and recycled water networks. In addition, the role will support the business transition of recycled water customer management, including identifying related tasks across business areas, evaluating processes, and assisting with efforts to streamline and align responsibilities within the appropriate operational teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Analysing operational data and preparing reports to inform decision-making

Reviewing and streamlining business processes, procedures, and templates

Providing onboarding and training support for new team members

Supporting recycled water customer management
