Financial Planner

Join a truly independent, privately owned advisory firm with a team of dedicated professionals operating under its own AFSL. This firm provides personalised, strategic financial advice to a diverse client base, including emerging professionals, business owners, high net worth families and retirees.

This role is perfect for an Associate Adviser ready to step up into their first Financial Planner role, or an Existing Advisor looking to grow their career in a collaborative, client-focused environment.

If you have completed your Professional Year (PY), you can begin advising clients immediately, managing your own portfolio and delivering advice with confidence.

If you have yet to complete your PY, you will start it right away with comprehensive support and mentoring from experienced advisers and an Operations and Compliance Manager.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Attending client meeting with an existing Director to build trusted relationship with his clients, which will then become your clients.

Provide full strategic, compliant advice to clients allocated to you

Preparing compliant advice documents such as Statements and Records of Advice

Researching and comparing investment, superannuation, insurance and other financial products

Conducting insurance analysis and liaising with third-party providers

Collaborating with advisers, paraplanners and client services to develop tailored financial strategies

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

A commitment to delivering advice that genuinely supports clients’ best interests

Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude

Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

Technical knowledge across core advice areas

Experience with Xplan software modules like Model Office, IPS, WealthSolver, CALM and Risk Researcher is highly desirable
