Hours: Monday – Friday, 40 hrs per week

We are seeking a motivated Statutory Planner to join our team on a 6-month contract with strong potential to extend or potentially transition to a permanent role if desired. Based in Melbourne, you will play a key role in projects across Australia, gaining exposure to diverse planning challenges in infrastructure and environmental sectors.
Strategic planning experience is highly regarded, but not essential. This is a fantastic opportunity to expand your expertise and grow your career with a supportive consultancy team.
Key Responsibilities

• Assess and manage planning applications in line with statutory requirements
• Contribute to multiple infrastructure and environmental projects nationwide
• Liaise with internal teams, external stakeholders, and government agencies
• Ensure compliance with relevant planning schemes and legislation
• Support strategic planning initiatives where required

About You

• Tertiary qualifications in Urban Planning, Town Planning, or related field
• Experience in statutory planning (private or public sector considered)
• Strong knowledge of Victorian planning frameworks (experience in other states a plus)
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
• Strategic planning experience preferred but not essential
• Available to start within the next 2 weeks
