About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Stonemason, Trade Assistant, and Wet Polisher to join our team at Evolution Stone in Hervey Bay, Queensland. This full-time role is an excellent opportunity to work with a leading provider of premium stone products and services.

What you'll be doing

Undertaking skilled stonemason work including job site installations, cutting, shaping, and polishing

Assisting trade-qualified stonemasons with tasks such as material handling, tool preparation, and work site clean-up

Operating wet polishing equipment to achieve a high-quality finish on stone surfaces

Adhering to strict quality control measures and workplace health and safety standards

Collaborating with the team to ensure efficient and timely completion of projects

What we're looking for

Relevant trade qualifications or significant experience in the manufacturing and installation of stone bench tops

Willing to train a reliable and enthusiastic person

Excellent hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and the ability to work with precision

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

A keen interest in the building trades industry and a commitment to delivering high-quality work

A valid driver's license
