YOUR NEW ROLE

As one of their valued key lawyers in Victoria, reporting to the Managing Partner (an industry-leading top calibre Accredited Specialist), you will relish the challenge+autonomy+ satisfaction of obtaining justice for your clients in respect of their institutional/historical abuse claims.

You will have full-spectrum carriage of your own files+ manage your own practice-obtaining client instructions, reviewing medical evidence, legal research, providing technical legal advice, liaising with third parties, briefing counsel and attending court/settlement conferences.

ONLY IF YOU desire a mixed hybrid role, some scope to practice in 1 other non-abuse area of personal injury law (eg public liability, medical negligence) if you have relevant experience.

WHO YOU ARE
We are interested in hearing from you if you:

are an admitted solicitor in VIC + have minimum 3-20+ YEARS experience in personal injury law including in abuse law (essential);

are hands-on (essential) and desire to have your own practice+clients (NOT seeking merely a managerial/mentoring role overseeing junior lawyers);

have strong technical knowledge +drafting & advocacy skills, are client-centric and results- driven;

are ambitious+ commercially astute with a high level of emotional intelligence;

have proven ability to work well in a busy, fast-paced environment;
