An exciting opportunity to join a well established general practice located in Redcliffe and Albany Creek.

Our family owned practice aims to provide high quality patient care within a team environment.

We are seeking a general practice Registered Nurse with excellent organisational, communication and clinical skills to join the team on a part-time or casual basis and be able to cover sick / holiday leave. Full time could be negotiated.

Our practice values teamwork and collaboration, so we will expect the ideal candidate to be flexible and be willing to work with and support the practice team.

Key responsibilities including but not limited to:

chronic disease management

health assessments

wound management

ECG/Spirometry/ABI

treatment room and stock control

immunisations and cold chain management

infection control

triage – over the phone and in person

vaccination administration

The successful candidate:

current registration with AHPRA

hold a registered nurse qualification

commitment to ongoing training

always maintain patient and staff confidentiality

ability to work in a team environment or autonomously, where necessary

previous experience in general practice (advantage but not essential)

knowledge of Best Practice (advantage but not essential)
