The Hypermarket Medical Centre is currently seeking an experienced General Practice Nurse to join our current team of five. You will be required to do two days of the week preferably Monday and Thursdays doing Health Assessments for our elderly patients visiting them at home.

Hours for Health Assessments 8.45am to 2.30pm (Paid at a contract rate)

Tuesday in house attending to Care Plans 8.00am - 15.00pm

Friday will be spent in our busy treatment room 7.30am - 5.30pm.

You will need to be flexible with hours and willing to cover sick leave and annual leave.

Clinic hours Monday - Friday. No weekend work. We are a mixed billing clinic with seven busy doctors.

The role includes the following duties

Children and Adult immunisations
Wound care
ECG & Ear Syringing
Infection Control
Patient Recalls & Reminders
Cold Chain Management & Instrument Sterilisation
Assisting with minor excisions & iron infusions
Care plans

Skills & Experience

Registered Nurse AHPRA Registration

Best Practice Software (Preferred)

Experience in General Practice
