The Role

Practice Nurse - Enrolled or Registered

2 Days - Tuesday and Wednesday, 8.30am - 4.00pm + relief on Thursday for the second nurse when

Blood collection for PRP treatment (experience preferred)

Shockwave treatment, Employment and Dive Medicals, Stock control and immunisations

Positive professional with exceptional patient care standards

High level communication skills

Works well as part of a team and independently

What does your working day look like?

Arrive and say hi to your team!

View your appointments for the day in our Best Practice clinical software program and call through your first patient

Take bloods for PRP, complete shockwave treatments, assist with medicals, assist with immunisations, enter patient clinical notes

Manage clinic stock, ordering and emails

Update patient health information allergies, height, weight, BP

Review and flag missed items in doctors clinical notes

Restock medical kits and maintain equipment

Help with other tasks as required

You have a keen eye for ongoing improvement and are comfortable in contributing ideas to improve efficiencies and the clinic.

You are able to multitask, fit in an extra patient or make an urgent phone call for a doctor.. and still smile at the end of a busy day!

You aren't afraid to roll up your sleeves. If you have a gap in your bookings, your first thought is to offer help to others, even if this means doing something that wouldn't typically fall in to your ‘job description’.
