Working between our Port Melbourne and Burwood East office, the focus of this role will see you working collaboratively with our Detailing team to support our clients and designers to develop, draw and contract premium renovation projects in a timely and stress-free manner. Your role is pivotal in ensuring that every aspect of the design and construction process runs smoothly and efficiently. You will finalize project quotations, update system data, and guarantee accurate ordering, contributing to a seamless project experience for our clients.

Your day to day will be filled with a great variety of tasks, some of which may include:

 Client Collaboration: Building strong relationships with clients to add genuine value through influencing decisions, guiding alternatives to design and communicating the benefits. Provide updates to clients to ensure they are always kept well informed at every stage of the process.

 Technical Expertise: Be the technical expert to refine the design and ensuring the highest standards of technical accuracy and customer service.

 Supplier Liaison: Liaise with suppliers to obtain pricing for cabinetry, stone, steel, windows, and doors etc.

 Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the correct construction code regulations are followed around timber framing, windows, waterproofing, electrical, fire rating, acoustics, ventilation, and energy efficiency.

 Permit Coordination: Manage building permits in collaboration with surveyors, external drafting teams, and facility inspectors.

Attributes you will bring to the role will include:

 A keen eye for detail, with strong problem-solving and communication skills.

 A goal-oriented mindset, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

 The ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards.

 Experience in architectural drafting, project management, or construction management, with a focus on residential environments.

 Proficiency in construction detailing including joinery, working drawings.

 Previous experience in using CAD based software tools like REVIT, Enscape, along with experience using ERP systems (preferably NetSuite)

 A proactive approach to process improvement and commercial acumen.
