A progressive Switchboard manufacturing company in Melbourne’s’ South East is looking for a suitable Switch board designer.

The right candidate will be tasked with building a team to design and certify switchboards and control system wiring.

Pre-requisites;

Proven experience in MSB design

Advanced understanding of AS/NZS relating to switchboards and electrical wiring

Good computer literacy

Proficiency in testing and documentation of Switch Boards

A recognised member of the National Electrical Engineering Register

Attributes;

Good communication skills

Team player

Eye for detail

Excellent time management skills

Preferred skill set

Experience with the detailed design of Switchboards

Experience in Elsteel and/or CUBIC switchboard design or similar

Experience with automation electrical schematics

Parts selection based on customer requirements

Use of Autocad electrical is preferred

Understanding of Power cad or Etap

Understanding of arc flash calculations
