United Electrical Solutions Tas Pty Ltd is an entirely Tasmanian-owned and managed electrical services company catering to clients across the state.

Thanks to ongoing patronage from our clientele, we’re seeking a proactive and experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a variety of electrical projects and manage key client accounts.

Based in Launceston and reporting directly to the directors, this role offers the chance to shape outcomes, build lasting relationships, and contribute to a collaborative and forward-thinking team.

What you'll be doing:

1. Lead end-to-end project delivery, from planning and procurement to commissioning and handover

2. Coordinating and supervising project teams, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure successful on-time and on-budget project delivery

3. Identifying and mitigating risks, issues and changes, and implementing appropriate solutions

4. Conducting regular progress reviews with key stakeholders, including clients

5. Ensuring projects adhere to all relevant industry regulations, standards and safety requirements

6. Providing leadership, coaching and performance management to project team members

7. Continuously looking for ways to improve project processes and efficiencies

8. Uphold safety, quality, and compliance standards in line with AS/NZS regulations and company values

What we're looking for:

1. Proven experience in project management within the electrical or construction industry

2. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

3. Technical understanding of electrical systems, dry fire, security, and AV installations (advantageous)

4. Proficiency in scheduling, budgeting, and operational workflows

5. A collaborative mindset and commitment to delivering excellence

6. Relevant qualifications in project management and the electrical trade,
